What is a College Adviser?

A college adviser provide one-on-one admissions and financial aid advice to any student or family from an assigned school.

Organize group events that encourage students and families to consider, plan for, and apply to college and universities.

Establish productive working relationships with principals, counselors, and teachers.

Represent the AmeriCorps program.

Effectively utilize tools and resources in pursuit of continuous improvement and outstanding service to students.

Maintain expertise in admissions and financial aid advising.
