Students must apply to CVCC as part of the application process. Steps to apply to CVCC can be found below.
If you receive an acceptance letter/email from CVCC, this is not an acceptance into the program. A decision letter will be sent to you from Central Office in late March or Early April.
All students accepted into the program must participate in an orientation that will be held shortly before the beginning of the school year. Students will be notified of the date as soon as it is set.
If applying to the Early College Program, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Attend the Student/Parent Information Meeting on Thursday, January 16th, 2025 at 6:30pm, CCTC
Step 2: Counselors will meet with any sophomore interested in applying to Early College on Friday, January 17. An announcement will be made. Counselors will go over the application process and pass out paper copies of the application.

FYI:
When you apply make sure you are applying as a Dual Enrolled student.
You will need the following information to complete the application:
Your (the student) social security number
Parents current email address
Parents completed educational level
Your (the student) personal email address (if you don’t have one please create one). DO NOT use your RHS school email address. Make sure the email address is appropriate (you can always create a new one just for college use).
Cell phone number (optional)
Once you have completed the application, you will receive a student ID number. Write this number down and keep it in a safe place, you will need it again. Also, write down your username and password. Your Counselor will not have access to your CVCC account so you must keep up with your login information.
Once you have applied, you will receive a letter or email stating you have been accepted. This is only acceptance for CVCC not the program in which you are applying.
Your transcript will be reviewed as part of the application process, you may be required to take the CVCC placement test. If so, you will be notified.
Step 4: Hand out teacher recommendation forms (English, Math, Science or Social Studies) (can be given out earlier) and fill out the application. An electronic copy of your essay must be sent to Mrs. Harris, rharris@campbell.k12.va.us. Return Application to the Counseling Office no later than February 14 by 2:00 pm.
The application and teacher recommendation form can be found on the Campbell County Schools website. The link is below. We will have paper copies and go over the application process on Friday, January 17 if you would like to wait until then (recommended).
