The library is closed today for testing. Please return books to the book drop. If you have overdue books they need to be returned as soon as possible! 

Seniors:  You need to take care of any overcharges on your cafeteria account as soon as possible.


This morning, we have the AP Chemistry and AP Environmental Science exams.  This afternoon we have AP Psychology.  If you have an exam this morning, report to your testing site after morning announcements and bring a number 2 pencil and a pen.

Attention Seniors:  Tomorrow is College Pride Day.  Wear a shirt displaying the name of the college you will attend next year.  Teachers, don't forget to wear your shirt also.

Attention: Sophomores and Juniors

The Hispanic College Institute will be hosted by Virginia Tech on July 31, 2017- August 3, 2017!  This free program offers help writing college essays and understanding financial aid and scholarship processes.  Students will also get the opportunity to participate in STEM and technology related workshops, learn and improve public speaking and interview skills.  For more information, please check out the Junior/Senior webpage or see Miss Crie for a flyer!

If you are interested in applying for the Campbell County Youth Advisory Council which provides opportunities for leadership and community service AND looks great on college applications, please see your counselor ASAP for more information.


The French Club Relay for Life team will meet in Mrs. Cartwright's room during flex on Thursday, May 4th.

The French Club End of Year Party will be in the conference room on Friday, May 12th from 3:00-4:30.

Central Virginia Regional Rescue is holding a fundraiser to collect your gently used shoes.  Shoes will be distributed to those in need in our communities and in third world countries.  There will be a box in the cafeteria for you to place shoes if you are interested.

NHS members interested in helping with the Teacher Learning Academy being held at RHS June 5-6 from 8-2 p.m. can sign-up on the bulletin board outside Mrs. Bailey's room.

NHS T-shirts are in!! If you ordered and paid for a shirt, please stop by Mrs. Bailey's room between classes or after school to pick up your shirt.


The drum line AND drum major candidates will practice on Tuesday and Wednesday this week.  Flag practice will take place on Friday.
