Friday will be Red Out and hat day. Pay $1 to wear a hat tomorrow. Money can be paid to Mrs. Austin in the main office. Wear all Red to the football game Friday night and enter a raffle for a free Rustburg t shirt.

On Friday, September 29th, the Commonwealth will be offering a free school breakfast to all students as part of the First Annual Feed Virginia Day of Action.

All of Ms. Bullington's, Mr. Nagy's and Mr. Robinson's government classes are to meet in the auditorium tomorrow.

The Rustburg High School PTSO will have a corn hole fundraiser on October 20th at 5:30 pm (team check-in at 5:00) on the tennis courts after the block party.  It will cost $10 per team (2 people to a team) and registration will be during lunch on October 5, 6, 9 and 10th.  Be getting your team together now!

Seniors please turn in all senior forms to Mrs. Martin by tomorrow.  If you need another copy of any of these forms, please see Mrs. Martin.

Attention 10th, 11th and 12th graders: There is a SAT Prep class is today from 3rd period through FLEX in the Conference Room.

There is also one this Saturday at the Tech Center from 8:30 am to 10:30 am.

Sign up in the Counseling Office if you are interested.

Attention Seniors:
There is a Financial Aid Presentation in the library this upcoming Monday Oct. 2nd at 6:30 pm. If you are attending a 2 or 4-year college, you and a parent need to attend.

Clubs

Students....follow the yearbook staff on Instagram @rustburghighyearbook to keep up with photos from Rustburg events. Please submit a selfie for the yearbook bulletin board being created in the Business Hall Wing. 

Do you like trivia games? Love to watch Jeopardy? If you do, come check out scholastic bowl! The scholastic bowl team will have its first meeting on Tuesday, October 3 after school until 4:00 in Ms. Rierson's room, D9. If you are unable to come to the meeting but are interested in participating, please see Ms. Rierson for information.

The tutor club is in search of new tutors. If you are interested, come to the library to pick up an application. Applications are due tomorrow.  

The French Club will be meeting today from 3-4 in A133.  Please bring your $5 dues.

Sports

The Rustburg High School Chorus will present its Fall Concert, Tuesday, Oct 3rd at 7:00 p.m.  We are happy to have the High Cotton Barbershop Quartet as our special guest performers.  This concert is free and a great way to support our students and the arts!
