  • The following English 11 students will take the Mid-Year Assessment Monday and Tuesday. The following students should report to their testing location immediately after announcements. Students will be released at the end of 2nd period.

  • Afternoon English 11 students will test during 6th and 7th periods. 
  • Any Juniors or Seniors who are interested in signing up for the driving range the week of Oct. 28- Nov. 1, please see Ms. Trent as soon as possible.
  • Attention students:  Are you interested in learning more about Landscaping and Hardscaping?  If so, Southern Landscape Group has an opportunity for you!  For the next six months, they are providing hands-on training through workshops from October 2019 to March 2020.  The workshops will be held once a month.  You do not have to attend all workshops and there is no age requirement.  This is a wonderful opportunity, so stop by Guidance and see Mrs. Martin for more information on how to sign up.
  • VCU will be visiting today during Flex, and Radford University will be here on Thursday during flex.  Keep signing up for College Visits in the Counseling Office.



  • The RHS STEM Club will have its next meeting on Wednesday, October 9 in Mr. Murtha’s room from 3-3:30. Please make an effort to come if you are interested!
  • The next General Student Council meeting is Tuesday, October 8th before or after school. Please make every effort to attend one of the meetings. 
  • Dance Club practice will be today from 3:00 - 5:00

  • October 9th:, Cross Country @ Sweet Briar 5 pm
  • October 10th: JV Football vs. Heritage 6:30 pm, Volleyball vs. Heritage 5:30/7:00 pm
  • October 11th: Varsity Football vs. Heritage @ City Stadium 7:00 pm
