  • Virginia Tech and Liberty University have been added to the College Visit List. Please sign up in the Counseling Office to attend.
  • Just a reminder for AP students who are taking an AP exam. The $40 payment is due as soon as possible and the next payment deadline is Nov. 1st. If you’re NOT taking an AP exam, please return the AP bill form to Mrs. Martin that lets us know you’re NOT taking it.
  • A reminder to Juniors and Seniors - if you haven't signed up for the ASVAB test and would like to, the sign-up sheet is in Guidance.  Please sign up by Friday, November 1st.  


  • The RHS STEM Club will be having its next meeting today (Wednesday, October 30) in Mr. Murtha's room at 3:00 and should last no more than an hour. Please make every effort to attend if interested!
  • Anyone wishing to help with the Junior Class Ring Dance should plan to come to the meeting after school on Thursday, October 31st, in the library. The meeting with help decide on the details of the dance and ceremony. 
  • NHS will meet on Wed., Nov. 6th at 3 pm in the Conference Room.  Please make plans to attend.  If you cannot make it, see Mrs. Bullington. 
  • The next Spanish Club meeting will be after school on Wednesday, November 6th in Ms. Christopher's room. Come join us for a late celebration of Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). Sign up in Ms. Christopher's or Mrs. Ibarra's rooms!
  • Dance Club practice will resume this Thursday afternoon...3:00 - 4:30


  • The Varsity Volleyball team will be hosting Jefferson Forest at 6:30 this evening for the District title! Come out to support these ladies by showing you support and wearing Red, Black, and White! Go Big Red!
  • October 30st: JV Football @ Liberty 6:30 pm
  • November 1st: Varsity Football vs. Liberty 7:00 pm
  • November 2nd: Regional Cheer Championship at RHS 12:00 pm



  • Seniors: The deadline to choose your senior portraits for the yearbook is October 31st. 
  • Yearbooks are now on sale through December 2nd. They are $50.00 each. Order forms are in the main office. Please turn in money and order forms to Mrs. Carr.
  • Seniors who are interested in purchasing a Congratulations Advertisement to be placed in the yearbook, the deadline is December 2nd.
  • Students taking the PSAT test will report to G206 after announcements.  
  • Reminder for tonight's volleyball game, athletic passes do not work for tournament games, admission will be $6.00.
