  • Any Juniors or Seniors who are interested in signing up for the driving range the week of Oct. 28- Nov. 1, please see Ms. Trent as soon as possible.
  • James Madison University and the Virginia University of Lynchburg have been added to the list of colleges visiting RHS.  JMU will be here on Oct. 24 and VUL will be here on Oct. 29th.  VUL is not associated with UVA or the University of Lynchburg.  They are historically a "second chance college" for students that may have not considered college previously. Their GPA requirement is only a 2.0 and they give significant financial aid to local students. Please sign up in the Counseling Office if you are interested in attending either the JMU or VUL College Visit.
  • Just a reminder for AP students who are taking an AP exam. The $40 payment is due as soon as possible and the next payment deadline is Nov. 1st. If you’re NOT taking an AP exam, please return the AP bill form to Mrs. Martin that lets us know you’re NOT taking it.
  • The University of Lynchburg will be holding on-site admissions at RHS on November 14th during the school day.  On-site Admissions allows Seniors to meet with Lynchburg admissions counselors and find out if they are accepted that day.  Scholarship opportunities will also be discussed with students that day. Students wishing to take part in the on-site admissions program need to complete the University of Lynchburg's online application and sign-up in the Counseling Office.
