National French Week starts next Wednesday! (Nov. 4th) The French Club will be meeting after school on Monday from 3-5 to decorate the school.

 

Tickets would be on sale for Ring Dance and will run through Friday, November 6th.  Students wishing to purchase tickets may do so before or after school...See Mrs. Slate, Room E-207 to purchase.

Ticket cost - $20.00 individual; $40 for a couple (both from RHS) and $50 if the date is NOT an RHS student.

 

New NHS members will be inducted into NHS on Wednesday, Nov. 4th at 6 p.m. All NHS members need to meet in the commons area by 5:30 on the 4th.


Clubs  / Miscellaneous

Originally, our induction date was Monday, Nov. 2.  It had to be moved to Wed., Nov. 4th.

Attention Seniors: Jostens representatives will be at school two days to assist you with your graduation order. The guys ordering day will be today  during all lunches in the Cafeteria. All seniors need to order their cap, gown, and other graduation items on one of these days. A $75.00 deposit is requested to place an order. Extra graduation packets are available in the front office.

The last day to buy a Spanish Club T-shirt is Friday.

 

The Yearbook Committee is proud to announce that they will be offering a Lay-A-Way plan for the yearbook this year. In addition, the intro price will only be $40.00. You will need to secure your plan with a $5.00 down payment before November 15th to get this price; order forms can be picked up in Mrs. Sholes’ room before or after school. After November 15th, the yearbook will increase to $50.00. Order your yearbook today!

 

 

ATTN JUNIORS:  Date forms for Ring Dance are in the main office.  You must fill out a date form if you are bringing anybody that’s not a junior at RHS.  Have the form filled out and bring it back to Mrs. Bullington by November 6.  Any questions see her.

 

Sports

Congratulations to the boys and girls cross country teams.  Both teams advance to the 3A West Regional Championship on November 3.  The girls team finished in 2nd place and the boys team finished in 1st place.  Colby Hudson won the boys race and was name Conference 30 Runner of the Year and Coach Wallin was name the Boys Coach of the Year.

No open gym for girls basketball this week or next week. Try outs will begin Nov. 9th right after school from 3-5pm.  Please have physicals before tryouts.

Tonight we will be hosting the Amherst County Lancers in our last regular season home game.  This will be our Senior and Pink Out Night.  At halftime we will recognize our 1990 State Championship football team.  Come out and support the Red Devils!
