  • There will be a SAT prep session Friday, November 30th from 3rd through FLEX.  Sign up in the Counseling Office if you are interested.
  • French Honor Society inductions will be tomorrow (Nov. 29th ) at 6:00 in the library. New and old members are required to attend. Spanish Honor Society inductions will be Sunday, Dec. 2nd at 5:00 in the library.

  • 11th or 12th graders if you are interested in going to the Driving Range with Coach Russell please see Mrs. Martin by November 30th.
  • Attention Seniors:  If you need a transcript and/or recommendation for your December and early January college application deadlines, your requests need to be in the Counselor Office no later than Wednesday, December 12.
  • Seniors applying to Virginia Tech, if you have 3.8 GPA or higher and would like to be considered for a leadership scholarship, please see Mrs. La Roche for more details.
  • The Sons of American Revolution Scholarship is due to Mrs. La Roche by this Friday.
  • Attention Juniors and Seniors:  Are you interested in the health field?  A representative from Centra Health will be in the Conference room on Tuesday, December 11 during 6th period.  Sign up in the Counseling Office if you are interested.
  • Seniors can I have your attention. Banker Steel is one of the top manufacturing and construction employers in our region and they are starting a 12-week Welding Apprenticeship Program in January. Their goal is to find students that want to learn the craft of Welding and leave High School with a Full-Time job. There will be an informational meeting held after morning announcements tomorrow in the auditorium. Please be sure to attend to learn more about Banker Steel and their Apprenticeship Program.


  • The concussion testing for athletes who have been told they need to take the test will need to meet Ms. So in room G106 today at 3:00. If you have any questions please ask your coaches.
  • Congrats to the girls jv team in their win over Altavista! Leading scorers were Maggie Mayhew and Maria Victoria with 10 points a piece.  Kate Hardie added 6 points and Alexa Ochs had 5 points. Aireona Hudson and Bailey Morris each had 4 points. Great job!!!

  • The musical ELF Jr. is being done at the NEW Historic Theater in downtown Lynchburg this Thursday and Friday at 7pm.  
  • Tickets can be purchased online, or at the door, but if you want a really great seat for $10 see Ms V in room A109 ASAP.  She has a few tickets left for Thursday night!"
