The RHS Student Learning Center continues to be open this week during flex on Tuesday and Thursday and Thursday after school until 3:45 in the guidance conference room.  If you need a tutor, please fill out a tutor request form in guidance.  Students who visit the Student Learning Center will be entered into a drawing for a special prize this week!


There is a list of new scholarships available in the counseling office.  Seniors should see Mrs. Herndon for information.


Clubs  / Miscellaneous

RHS will be having HAT DAY on Friday, May 8th for Breast Cancer Awareness.   Donations of $1 or more will get you a pink ribbon to wear along with being allowed to wear a hat that day.  This is in honor and recognition of Mrs. Ibarra and Breast Cancer Awareness.  Please see Mrs. Austin in the main office to make your donation.  Only those who donate will get to wear a hat!


Mrs. Q's FLEX should meet in A133 and Coach Burch's FLEX should meet in the commons area. NHS t-shirts are have arrived!  Please see Mrs. Bailey before or after school to pay for/pick-up your shirt.

All of Mr. Clark’s classes need to report to the Commons Area near the Guidance Office today.


Want to send a classmate a note of encouragement this first week of SOLs? The French Club Relay for Life team is selling Posigrams, positive notes with candy, this week at all lunches for 50 cents each.  Posigrams will be delivered on Friday afternoon.


The French Club T-Shirt Money deadline has been extended to Wednesday, May 6th.  Please bring your $12 to Ms. Nablo by Wednesday.

There will be flag and drumline practice on Tuesday and Wednesday this week at the RHS band room until 4:30 p.m.

Come out for Creative Writing Club’s end of year party!  It will be meeting on Thursday, May 7th in Mrs. Foster’s room until 4:00.


Spanish Club will meet after school Wednesday.  Please bring a dish that is traditional to your family to share with the exchange students.  This is the last meeting of the year.


Do you like to act like a squirrel, or slide like a snail, or maybe have the chance to be someone else????  Then come out next Tuesday and Thursday May 5th and 7th to the Advanced Acting Auditions for their original One Acts.  No experience necessary.  3-4pm in the auditorium.  Student directed, come out and join the drama classes and be a part of an original show.
