This is the last week the student learning center will be open for this school year.  It will be open during flex on Tuesday and Thursday and Thursday in the guidance conference room.  If you need a tutor, please fill out a tutor request form in guidance.  Thanks to all of the students who attended the center this semester and to the tutors who devoted their time.  Over 90 tutoring sessions were held!

 

Guidance

Attn. Student Leaders: gain experience, make professional connections and have fun with the Campbell County Youth Advisory Council.  If you have a C average and are interested in community service please see Mrs. Herndon for an application.

Any senior who is of Hispanic or Latino heritage with a minimum GPA of 2.5 is invited to apply for this scholarship.  Interested students should see Mrs. Herndon for information.

 

Clubs  / Miscellaneous

 

"Best of Broadway" will be performed at Brookville High School tonight at 7pm!  Come out and see musical numbers from Cinderella, A Chorus line, Shrek and much more!!!  This is a show that brings together both Brookville and Rustburg theater kids, so come and support our students.  Tickets are only $5 and can be purchased at the door."

Teachers for Tomorrow students are reminded their portfolios are due Tuesday, May 26.

Any Sophomores or Juniors interested in signing up for the driving range for the months of June and July, please see Ms. Trent ASAP.

There will be a meeting during Flex on May 26th for anyone interested in the California Trip next summer. We will be visiting San Francisco, Los Angeles, and San Diego. See Coach Nagy for details.

Anyone taking AP Government next year needs to see Coach Nagy for their summer assignment.

The French Club end of the year party is Friday, May 22 from 3-5.

Did you forget to buy a yearbook? Buy one now for $55. On sale before and after school and during lunch in the yearbook room.

 

Sports

 

Any young man interested in playing football next fall should attend the Rustburg H.S. Football Mini-Camp.  The camp will run June 1-4 from 3:15 to 5:15 PM following school.  All participants will need cleats and workout clothing.  Arrange for a ride home at 5:30.  Any questions see Coach Baker.
