Today is the Geometry SOL test for Mr. Laughlin's classes.  Please report to your testing location after announcements.   Also, put your book bag and cell phone away before you check into your testing location.  Good luck!

Rustburg High students that are in the Dual Enrollment program at CVCC please turn in all your books to Mr. Peerman by 3PM on May 25, 2016.  All books should be turned in to Mr. Peerman in person.  If Mr. Peerman is unavailable please tape a sticky note to EACH book with your first and last name on it.  If you would like to purchase a book or books, Mr. Peerman has a price list and he will give you the price.

The NAACP Kyle Thornhill scholarship is Due Today. 


Clubs  / Miscellaneous

Any 10th or 11th graders, who would like to sign up for the driving range in June or July, please see Ms. Trent.  There are currently spots available for both months.

 

SENIORS: Your baccalaureate ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, May 22nd at 6 pm. Please arrive and meet in the auditorium at 5:40. Graduation dress code and gowns required, but no caps. Please invite your parents and friends. 

 

The French Club end of the year party will be on Thursday, May 26th from 3:00-4:30.  Please see Mrs. Cartwright to sign up for something to bring.

 

Seniors need to pick up their caps from Mrs. Banton, Mrs. Slate, or Mrs. Moran today. If you do not have any of those teachers for English, please see Mrs. Bailey.  No alterations to any caps can be made at this point.  Thanks to all who decorated their caps - they look great!

 

Attention Seniors: Baby pictures and quotes for the senior slide show are due by today. None will be accepted after that point. Please forward your baby picture and/or quote to Mrs. Banton.

Sports

Conference 30 track meet is today.

Conference 30 girl’s tennis will be today.  

Today there is a mandatory Talent show meeting from 3-4pm in the auditorium.  All participants must be there or you will not be able to compete. 

Flag practice and symphonic band practice will take place tomorrow at the RHS band room.

RHS Cheer try-outs will be today, tomorrow, and Friday, from 4-6 in the RHS gym.
