Today and Tomorrow morning

Algebra I remediation will be this morning and tomorrow morning from 7:30-8:00am in Ms. Hughes' classroom in D106.  If you are retaking Algebra I, please make plans to attend.

Today we have the World History II SOL test.  Mr. Nagy's classes will test in the morning and Mr. Cartwright's classes will test in the afternoon.  Remember, afternoon testing starts after second lunch so if you have third lunch and are testing in the afternoon, take second lunch.


Clubs  / Miscellaneous

Over 85 French students participated in the National French Contest in March, and many of our students placed in the top 30 in the state and in the U.S.  Some of our top winners include:

Kacie Reusser, who placed 14th in the state and 19th in the nation for level 2

Jordyn Salmon, who placed 16th in the state and 19th in the nation for level 3

Mazie Doss, who placed 19th in the state and 22nd in the nation for level 3

Ben Kelley, who placed 19th in the state and 24th in the nation for level 4

and Annie Eick (IKE), who placed 14th in the state and 22nd in the nation for level 5.

Congratulations to all students who participated!  Other top scores are posted on the bulletin board across from Mrs. Cartwright's classroom.

There will be a mandatory meeting for French Club Relay for Life members tomorrow during flex in Mrs. Cartwright's room.

SENIORS: If you would like to include a baby pictures on the Graduation Slideshow, please email Mrs. Banton or bring her the picture before Wednesday, May 18th. 

Auditions for the Talent Show will be Today from 3-4pm in the auditorium.  We are looking for ALL kinds of talent.  Dancing, singing, acting, juggling, gymnastics, body contortions? Whatever you think you CAN do, come and audition! Prepare your 1 minute audition and sign up in the office.  If you have any questions see Ms. V in room 109.  Talent show will be Wednesday May 25th after school from 3:30 - 5:30.  $3 at the door. 

NHS officers need to meet in Mrs. Bailey's room after school today, May 10th to approve caps turned in by seniors.

Sports

Congrats to the girls soccer team on their win over Heritage last night.

High School Musical cast party is this Friday in the auditorium 3:00-530pm. Any questions see Mrs. V. Feel free to bring goodies to share.

There will be flag practice and symphonic band practice at the RHS band room this Thursday.
