  • RHS will be hosting a blood drive with the American Red Cross on March 20th.  If you would like to donate, please come by the main office to sign up and to find out more information.


  • Yale University has selected Rustburg High School as one of their final stops on their College Visit tour.  A current Yale student will be visiting during flex on March 21st.  Sign up in the Counseling Office if you are interested in hear about Yale University and the Ivy League education they offer.
  • Just a reminder for students taking an AP exam, the exam money is due to the counseling office by Thursday, March 14th.
  • Congratulations to Audrey Carlson for receiving the Grand Alternate Award in Biological Science at the Central Virginia Regional Science Fair for her project, "The Effect of Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Exposure on Planaria Regeneration."  Also congratulations to Jamael Smith for receiving honorable mention in mathematics.


  • On Friday, March the 8th, the leadership class will be hosting a Movie Night at 6 p.m. in the library and showing Napolean Dynomite. Tickets will be $3 and will be sold in all lunches on Thursday and Friday. All money will go towards the materials used to build The Little Free Pantry. 
  • The next NHS meeting will be on Monday, March 11th at 2:55 pm in the library.  If you can't attend, please see Mrs. Bullington.
  • There will be an informational parents' meeting on March 19 at 6 pm in the library for anyone interested in going to Italy & Greece in June of 2021. See Mrs. Bullington for information prior to the meeting. 


  • Wrestling will begin weight lifting and conditioning every Monday and Wednesday after school starting next week.  If you are not competing in a sport right now and are interested in training with the wrestling team, please meet at the wrestling room next Monday immediately after school.
