Both events going on all month! Guidance The AREVA Summer Institute for Technology and Engineering is accepting applications for their 2017 summer program for rising juniors and seniors. Attention AP Students: If you still need to pay for your AP exam, the deadline has been extended to today. The Women's Club of Lynchburg Scholarship is due this Thursday, March 23rd. Clubs Congratulations Kayla Bentley, Marissa Ferguson, Grace Bigham and Carrie Lloyd, they are Regional winners in the Online Personal Finance Division of the Governor's Challenge. They will participate in the Personal Finance Division of the State Championship of the Governor's Challenge in Economics and Personal Finance on April 26th at VCU. Congratulations to the Rustburg High School Vocal Ensemble for receiving Superior Rating at the District VI Choral Assessment at Radford University! The vocal ensemble members chose difficult music to sing and it paid off. The judges' comments reflect the dedication and hard work it takes to be rated a Superior Choir! Spanish Club will meet after school on Thursday, March 23 in the Conference Room. Please bring CRAZY American food that our exchange students might not have tried yet. For example, pigs in a blanket or dirt cake. Leadership applications are available in the band room for band students that are interested in a leadership position in the Marching Red Devil band for next year. Any student interested in trying out for the flag line of the Marching Band, practice will begin next Tuesday at the RHS band room and last until 4:30 pm. Congratulations to the cast of Once Upon This Island. Rehearsal will be this afternoon from 3:00-5:30 in the Mrs. V’s room. Any NHS student who is contributing items for the blessings bags needs to bring them to Mrs. Bailey's room prior to our next meeting on Tuesday, April 4th.
