  • Attention sophomores if you're applying to Early College, STEM or Governor School and have NOT applied to CVCC. The counseling office will help you apply today during FLEX in G110 "
  • New scholarships have been added to the scholarship webpage!  Please keep applying!
  • For the 2nd nine weeks we had 198 students on the honor roll and 177 on the Principal's list.  The list of names are on the RHS website under School Counseling. 
  • Attention students who took the ASVAB test - On Thursday, January 29, Sgt. McDaniel will be in the conference room during FLEX.  He will discuss your ASVAB results and will answer any questions you may have.  Please see Ms. Pugh if you have any questions.
  • Representatives from Liberty University will meet with all interested students on March 31st during Flex for an informational session.  Following this meeting, any seniors who wish to apply may do so with help from college admissions officers.  Seniors wishing to apply need to bring a copy of their transcript(s) and their SAT/ACT scores.  The $50 application fee will be waived if seniors apply that day.  Sign up in the counseling office if you would like to attend.
  • New scholarships have been added to the Junior/Senior website including one just for cross country runners.  Make sure you are checking the website as new scholarships are being added weekly!

  • Congratulations to the scholastic bowl team on their undefeated season and their 1st place finish in the 3A Seminole District tournament last night. 
  • SCA dodgeball Squad is meeting for Flex in Mrs. Wommack's room E212 today (thursday) and after school. If you signed up to help, you know who you are! See you there!
  • Dodgeball is coming!!!! Feb 20th - 6pm 

                Teams- Submit your form and cash money by Feb 14th

                Find a form in the cafeteria, library or in the office on Jan 24th.

  • Congratulations to the boys varsity and Jv basketball team for their wins over William Campbell last night.
  • For those girls that may be interested in playing tennis in the spring, there will be a meeting after school in the commons area this afternoon (Thursday January 23rd) ...

  • January 24th: Boys Basketball vs. Heritage (5:30/7 pm)/Swim Team vs. EC Glass @ Downtown Y (6: 30 pm)

Reminders:

  • Sadie Hawkins dance tickets will be on sale during lunches on January 29th, 30th, 31st, February 5th, 6th, 7th, 11th, 12th, and 13th.  Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door.  Also, if you are bringing a date from another school, be sure to complete the guest form located in the main office.
