The Sadie Hawkin's Dance will be held on February 17 from 7-10pm at Rustburg High School.  Tickets will be $10 at the door and $8 in advance.  Tickets will be on sale during lunch on February 5th tickets will be sold in the morning and at lunch on February 5th as well as on February 12th.  Carnations will also be on sale for $2 on Valentine’s Day during the morning and at lunch.  All proceeds will support the RHS PTSO 2018 After Prom Party.  If you are bringing a date from another school, you must complete a date form, which will be located in the main office.

Today is Library Shelfie day stop by the library and take a selfie, these selfies will be posted on the library Instagram @libraryreddevil with the #Redreads. The library also has a Super Bowl challenge going on so come to the library to vote on who you think will win the super bowl

The Dodgeball Tournament is Feb. 22 starting at 6 pm.

Make your team by picking up a form in the office.  You need a teacher sponsor and $20 to make a team.  Forms are due by Feb. 16.  Hope to see you out there!

Mrs. Riddle’s classes will be in the conference room all day.



Seniors, don't forget: The Lee-Jackson Scholarship is due to Miss Crie on Friday.

More new scholarships have been added to the Junior/Senior Website.  March deadlines are approaching fast.  Keep applying!  See Miss Crie with any questions!

Attention 10th, 11th and 12th graders:  The next SAT prep session is today Wednesday from 3 to 4:30 in the Conference room.  Sign up in the Counseling Office if you are interested.


The next Poet's Club meeting will be today, from 3:00-4:00 in Mrs. Slate's room. We will be working on the poetry newsletter, so please bring an original work to submit.

The next French Club meeting will be in Mrs. Cartwright's room tomorrow, February 1st from 3:00-4:30.

The next regularly scheduled NHS meeting will be Tuesday, February 13th in the library right after school.  There will be no January make-up meeting.

NHS members:  There's a new opportunity for you!  Come join in the fun at the Tim Tebow Foundation's Night to Shine.  Mandatory meeting tomorrow, February 1st at 6:30 p.m. at Journey Ministries,2002 Church Street, Appomattox, VA  24522

French Honor Society Concord teachers are meeting after school today from 3-4.  The French Club will be meeting in Mrs. Cartwright's room from 3-4:30 after school tomorrow.

The meeting for those who are interested in playing tennis in the Spring has been schedule for tomorrow right after school in the commons area.

Girls soccer conditioning will be held tomorrow at 3:15 on practice field.   If you haven’t renewed your physical, please try and do so as soon as possible.

Baseball practice will be today.

Everyone who auditioned for hairspray jr the cast list will go up Friday morning. Full cast mandatory meeting will be Tuesday Feb. 6th from 3:00-4:00pm in the auditorium
