  • Virginia Tech is hosting their 2020 Black College Institute this summer for current sophomores and juniors.  The institute is free to students.  Students will participate in the residential, academic leadership program at the Virginia Tech main campus in Blacksburg, Virginia.  If you are interested, please come by the Counseling Office to pick up a flyer regarding that application process. 
  • Attention Sophomores:  If you are interested in the Early College Program next year, Campbell County is holding an information session this evening (Tuesday, January 14 at 6:30 pm) and Thursday, January 16 at 8:00 pm at the Campbell County Technical Center.
  • Attention Juniors:  If you are interested in the Dual Enrollment Program for next year, Campbell County is holding an information session this evening (Tuesday, January 14 at 8:00 pm) and Thursday, January 16 at 6:30 pm at the Campbell County Technical Center.
  • We are MAP testing for English 9 today.  Students testing during the morning session will report to their testing locations after morning announcements.  Students testing during the afternoon session will report to their testing location after third lunch at 12:23. 
  • The Counseling department is having a meeting for 10th graders during FLEX in the auditorium on Thursday for students interested in applying to Early College, STEM and Governor School.
  • Attention Juniors:  If you signed up for the SAT Prep sessions, the first one is today. Please meet in the auditorium.

  • The next NHS meeting will be Wed., Jan. 22 in the Conference Room.  Please make every effort to attend.  If you can't, please see Mrs. Bullington.
  • There will be an informational meeting regarding the trip to Rome & Athens 2021 on Jan. 15th at 6 pm in the library.  Please see Mrs. Bullington if you and your parents are interested.

  • Baseball workouts have been cancelled for today, workouts will resume on Thursday.

  • January 16th: Wrestling match vs. VES (6 pm)

  • January 18th: Track @ LU, Wrestling @ BHS

Band/Chorus/Drama

  • Vocal Ensemble auditions will continue through this week.  If any student is interested in singing next year, please sign up on the list to be called by Friday.

  • The Sadie Hawkins dance will be February, 15th. Date forms are in the office.
