  • Reminder for Sophomores:  We will be taking a field trip over to the Tech Center on February 18th.  The deadline to turn in your permission is today (Friday, February 7th).  If you need another permission slip, please see Mrs. Martin in the Counseling Office.
  • Representatives from Liberty University will meet with all interested students on March 31st during Flex for an informational session.  Following this meeting, any seniors who wish to apply may do so with help from college admissions officers.  Seniors wishing to apply need to bring a copy of their transcript(s) and their SAT/ACT scores.  The $50 application fee will be waived if seniors apply that day.  Sign up in the counseling office if you would like to attend.
  • Applications for Early College and Governor's School are due to the Counseling Office by the end of the day today.

  • The next SCA General assembly meeting is Tuesday, February 11th before or after school. This includes flex representatives. 
  • Show your Valentine how much you love them with a special treat! The leadership class will be selling Carnation flowers and bags of Hershey Kisses at lunches from now until Wednesday, February 12th. The bags of Hershey Kisses and Carnations will be delivered to your special someone during FLEX on Friday, February 14th.
  • The next NHS meeting will be after school on Wed. Feb. 12th at 3 pm in the library.  Please make every effort to attend as it is a requirement of NHS.  See Mrs. Bullington if you can't make it.
  • Dodgeball is coming!!!! Feb 20th - 6pm 

                    Teams- Submit your form and cash money by Feb 14th

                    Find a form in the cafeteria, library or in the office on Jan 24th. 

 

 Sports

  • Any athlete interested in running long distance races Coach Mosley will have a special meeting to discuss training methods on February 18th at 7:45am in the conference room. If you need more details, please see Coach Mosley or Coach Doughlas.
  • Girls Basketball games will be tonight at JF
  • February 7th: Boys Basketball vs. JF (5:30/7 pm)
  • February 8th: Indoor Track @ Heritage HS, Wrestling @ Liberty


Band/Chorus/Drama

  • Sister Act auditions are today from 3-4:30.

 

Reminders:

  • The library is closed this week except for flex. 
  • Sadie Hawkins dance tickets will be on sale during lunches today, February 11th, 12th, and 13th.  Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door.  Also, if you are bringing a date from another school, be sure to complete the guest form located in the main office.
  •  All Government students should report to their classes today!
