National School Counseling Week, "School Counseling: Helping Students Realize Their Potential," will be celebrated from Feb. 6-10, 2017.

Attention students:  If you are interested in the STEM Academy, there is an information session this Thursday, February 9th, at CVCC from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.  It will be held in the Merritt Hall Multipurpose room.

Attention Sophomores:  Early College and Governor's School applications are due to the Counseling Office by this Friday.  You will take the placement test this Tuesday and Wednesday morning.  Your 1st period teacher will have information for you tomorrow morning.

Attention Sophomores and Juniors:  There is a SAT prep session this Thursday, from 1 to 2:30 in the library.  Sign up in the Counseling Office.


If you are a member of Spanish Club and want to join the dodge ball team, let Mrs. Morton or Mrs. Solorzano know.

The regularly scheduled NHS meeting for Tuesday, February 7th has been moved to Tuesday, February 28st.  We will still be meeting in the conference room right after school.

Attention Chocolate Lovers:  On Friday, February 10th, at the Rustburg Public Library; and Saturday, February 11th, at the Timbrook Public Library from 10 – 2, they will be holding their annual Chocoholic Frolic.  You can participate by entering the baking competition, pay $5 to taste test, or pay $5 and take a tray of goodies home.  The $5 fee is due at the library on the day of the event.    The event will benefit the Adult Literacy Program of Campbell County.  Registration forms are in the main office.

Yearbooks will be on sale through the end of February for $50.00. After February no more orders will be placed. 


Congratulations to the following athletes on qualifying for the  West Regional  Track Championship Ryan Fore  in the 55hurdles.

The 4by8 relay consisting of Tiffany Mays, Summer Wolhford, Laura Wilson and Grace Phillips and  Harmony Matts in the high jump all qualified for the Regional Track Championship.

The following athletes qualified for the Group 3A State Track Championship: The 4by2 team consisting of Autumn Smith, Leah Eick, Trinity Lamberth and Tahmya Robinson. Elaina Cheatham and Davon Jones in the shot put
