Mrs. Simpson's SOL egg hunt will be begin today.  The eggs are for her students only.  If you find an egg, do not open it until you bring it to her room.  If you answer the hidden question correctly, you will receive a prize.  Good luck!  

The Penny Wars will be open until the end of lunches today. You can add your money in the library or the office. Teachers and Students are encouraged to empty their pockets of change!

Guidance

Attention 10th, 11th and 12th graders:  SAT prep sessions will be today, February 26 and Wednesday, February 28 from 3 to 4:30 in the Conference Room at RHS.  Sign up in the Counseling Office if you are interested.

 

Clubs

The Reading Room will be open:  tomorrow and Thursday Please bring a good book and come Read With Us! Mrs. Moran's room E211 See You There!

Senior Council meeting will be meeting Wednesday during FLEX in Mrs Rierson’s room.

There will be a Spanish Club meeting on Wednesday, February 28th.  

 

Sports

For any students interested in JV, Sideline, or Competition Cheerleading there will be an interest meeting in the Conference Room on March 6th at 7:40 in the morning. There will also be a Parents and Athletes Meeting on March 6th as well at 6:30 that evening for parents and athletes to attend together. Cheer Conditioning/Open Gyms will be on Tuesdays at 5-6:30 starting March 13th. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Mitchell in the Library.

Outdoor Track will start March 5 at 3:00pm on the Track. All students interested in running track please see Coach Mitchell for more details.

Girls Soccer Practice will be held Monday - Wednesday on Abbott-Duncan field from 3:15 -5
and Thursday - Friday on the band field from 3:15-5

Rustburg's Girls track program placed 11th at the VHSL Track &Field State Championship. Trinity Lamberth placed 4th in the long jump and 5th in the triple jump. Trinity Lamberth, Leah Eick and Tahmya Robinson placed 5th in the 4by2 relay.

Ryan Fore placed 6th in the 55 meters’ hurdles. All athletes earn All State honors.

All these athletes earned ALL STATE honors.
