National School Counseling Week, "School Counseling: Helping Students Realize Their Potential," will be celebrated from Feb. 6-10, 2017.

Clubs

This afternoon two of our students will be participating in the conference 30 forensics competition at Liberty High School. Owen Evans and Kalie Grant will be competing in impromptu speaking, an event in which students have 7 minutes to prepare and present a speech on a randomly selected topic. Sierra Wyatt will be presenting an original speech in the oratory competition. Please take a moment and wish them luck!

If you are interested in auditioning for the RHS Vocal Ensemble please sign up on the chorus room door by tomorrow, Feb 3.  Auditions will be done Monday and Tuesday during flex.

The regularly scheduled NHS meeting for Tuesday, February 7th has been moved to Tuesday, February 28st.  We will still be meeting in the conference room right after school.

Attention Chocolate Lovers:  On Friday, February 10th, at the Rustburg Public Library; and Saturday, February 11th, at the Timbrook Public Library from 10 – 2, they will be holding their annual Chocoholic Frolic.  You can participate by entering the baking competition, pay $5 to taste test, or pay $5 and take a tray of goodies home.  The $5 fee is due at the library on the day of the event.    The event will benefit the Adult Literacy Program of Campbell County.  Registration forms are in the main office.

Softball will be at Rustburg high school tonight from 5:30 to 7:30
