Reminder to Seniors – If you ordered a cap & gown from Jostens, come by & pick it up – If you didn’t order one and need a cap & gown come see Mrs. Austin in the main office.

The RHS Student Learning Center continues to be open this week during flex on Tuesday and Thursday and Thursday after school until 3:45 in the guidance conference room.  If you need a tutor, please fill out a tutor request form in guidance.  Students who visit the Student Learning Center will be entered into a drawing for a special prize this week!

Remediation will be after school for World History II in E232, and US History in G215 from 3:00-4:00.  If you are retaking a history SOL test this spring or want extra review, make plans to attend!  Geometry and Algebra II remediation will be Wednesday afternoon and Earth Science and Biology remediation will be on Thursday after school. 

 

Guidance

Attention students:  If you picked up an application for Teachers for Tomorrow, Elementary Teacher's Aide or Yearbook, please return the completed applications to the Counseling Office no later than Wednesday, April 15th.  This date may be different than what's on the applications, please note the change.

 

 

Clubs  / Miscellaneous

 

The French Club Relay for Life team will be having a bake sale during all lunches on Friday, April 17th. 

The French Club officers will have a quick meeting after school on Monday, April 20th.

 

Practice for flag, drumline and drum major tryouts will begin this Thursday and last until 4:30.  Be sure to dress comfortably and wear tennis shoes to practice.  Report to the RHS band room at 3:00 pm.

 

Congrats to the FBLA students who spent part of their spring break in Washington DC competing they were: Ashley Hicks, Ben Kelley, Megan Ingram and James Enoch. Special congratulations go out to James and Megan as their Business Ethics team placed 3rd in the State. Great job!

 

Oliver the musical being performed here at RHS this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights at 7pm is raffling 2 adult tickets for the show.  Each Raffle ticket is $5 and is available in the office.  The raffle will be drawn at the faculty meeting this Wednesday afternoon.  Please come out and support local theater.

 

NHS members are reminded there is a meeting today, Tuesday, April 14th, after school in the conference room next to guidance.  This will be your last chance to order an NHS t-shirt and we will be going over officer election information.

 

 

The Dodge Ball Tournament has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 22.  All registration forms and money ($20) need to be turned in to Mrs. Inge  in classroom E130 by Friday, April 17.  Times are the same, teams and sponsors have to be in the auditorium at 5 PM for a rules meeting.  The games start at 5:30 PM.

 

 

Sports

 

Today, after school, there will be off-season wrestling practice from 3-5 in the wrestling room.  If you have any questions, see Coach Laughlin.
