After-Prom ticket sell dates @ Lunches tomorrow, $15 per person Friday April 13th as well as next Monday and Wednesday.

Students, the deadline for purchasing a yearbook is tomorrow, April 13th. The cost of the yearbook is $50.00. Anyone who does not purchase in advance will not be guaranteed to get one at the end of the year as a limited quantity is ordered. 

The Kindness Club meeting is today after school.

Are you interested in being a tutor next year? If so, please come get or turn in a tutor application by April 18th. See Ms. Gledhill or Mrs. Eccles for more information. 


Attention Juniors and Seniors:  Southern Landscaping will be at RHS today during FLEX.  Come find out what career opportunities they have available for you. The meeting will take place in the Conference Room.

Attention Seniors: Tomorrow is Senior Awareness Day. You will receive your list of sessions during 1st period tomorrow. If you do not have a first period at RHS, your list will be in the Counseling Office.

New scholarships have been added to the Junior/Senior website.  Make sure you are checking this site regularly for updates.  Also, 4 scholarships are due tomorrow.  They are the J.J. Fray, Event Zone, Kyle E. Thornhill, and Joseph P. Crouch.  Also please be aware that the Tobacco Region Scholarship/Loan Forgiveness Program application are due online by tomorrow as well.



On Monday, April 16th, an informational meeting will be held in the conference room during FLEX about a new Journalism class that will be offered next year, as well as information pertaining to the Yearbook class. If you are interested in journalism, photography, communications, or learning about creative design please make sure to attend. 

Help families in Guatemala AND win a treat for your 7th period class!  Next week the Spanish Honor Society and the Kindness Club will be collecting toothbrushes and boxes of Band-Aids from 7th period classes.  The class with the highest item to student ratio will win tortilla chips, salsa, and drinks!  


The Color Run/Walk sponsored by Yearbook will be April 22nd. Please mark your calendar and make plans to join us.

Rustburg's Girls finished 2nd in a quad trackmeet. Event winners were: Trinity Lamberth, Grace Phillips, Leah Eick and Parker Goldstein.

Rustburg's Boys finshed 3rd in the same quad track meet Event winners were: Ryan Fore, Devon Watts, and Micheal Keller
