Attention Juniors: If you are enrolled in the Dual Enrollment program next school year, the parent/student meeting has been changed to today May 23 at 7:00 pm.  It will be held at Rustburg High School Auditorium.


Sports

For the cheerleaders that made the JV and Varsity Cheer leading teams, the parents and athletes meeting has been cancelled for Thursday and it is moved to June 11th, which is the first day of practice. Practice will be from 5-7 at RHS and the meeting will follow. If you have any questions, please contact coach Mitchell

Anime Club Sushi Day is today May 22nd.  Everyone is welcome to join the last meeting of the year, in Mrs. Burrell’s room from 3:00-4:00pm.

Sports

The Rustburg High School Choral Department will present its Spring concert tonight at 7:00 P.M.  The music includes 50's tunes and songs from today and it's free!

All library books are due on today, May 21st for everyone. The first 50 students to return their books will be entered in a raffle for a La Carretta Gift Card.

Attention students:  If you want to make any changes to your course request for next year, the deadline is tomorrow May 11.  There will be a form in the Counseling Office for you to fill out and get signed by a parent.  This will be the last time to request a change.

 

Clubs

Seniors who are interested in participating in the Bring Back our Graduates Day at Concord Elementary School on May 29th need to sign up by the end of the week.  Look for a sign-up sheet from Mrs. Banton.  You get to wear your cap and gown, ride the bus to Concord Elementary on May 29th, and see your old teachers and the elementary students.  This is a great opportunity so please sign up!  

Any NHS member interested in helping with Concord Elementary School's field day on Friday, May 25th may sign-up on the bulletin board outside Mrs. Bailey's room.  There are two sessions.  The morning session is from 9:30-11:30 am and the afternoon session is from 12:30-2:30 pm.  Seniors may volunteer for both sessions; juniors may volunteer for the morning session.  Please check your exam schedule prior to signing up as exams take precedence.

If you are interested in taking the new journalism class offering photography, communications, and creative design, you need to see your guidance counselor before today May 9th to make class changes for next year. 

RHS is working to send support to Brookville High School in this time of sadness and heartache over their loss of the student, Robert "Skyler" McConville. There is a table outside of the library with note cards and markers for all of those who wish to send a note to our neighboring community.
