  • Students scheduled to test today will need to report to their testing locations after morning announcements.  Bookbags, cell phones and wearable technology should be placed in your locker prior to testing.
  • Are you in the 9th grade and will you be the first in your family to attend college?  If yes, then Virginia Tech is offering an opportunity for you to experience college life for FREE from May 29th to May 31st. You will get to live in a college dorm, eat in the dining halls, and participate in lots of fun activities!  Stop by the Counseling Office for full details.
  • Today (March 4th), is the national campaign for Spread the Word to End the Word. Spread the Word: Inclusion is a global campaign working towards inclusion for all people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. It started as Spread the Word to End the Word in 2009, a campaign to encourage people to pledge to stop using the word "retard" in a derogatory manner, but broadened its goals in 2020 to stop all derogatory words that do not promote inclusion and diversity. There will be a table in the commons areas during all lunches that will allow everyone to take the pledge to use more inclusive language. Please stop by today and join RHS as we promote inclusion.
