  • Rustburg High School Families,

    We have a new security system at Rustburg High School that requires an extra step in keeping our school safe. This new system requires you to scan your driver's license every time you come to the school. Whether you are volunteering,  signing them in tardy, or picking them up early, the system requires you to scan your driver's license. Please start to bring your license in with you each time you visit the school. Thank you for helping keep our students safe.

    Administration

    • This year, yearbook is offering an opportunity for every student to earn their yearbook for FREE.  All you have to do is sell 12 boxes of glazed Krispy Kreme donuts. That’s it!  Orders and money are due back Friday, August 24th. Please see Mrs. Sholes with any additional questions.

    • Underclassmen pictures will be Wednesday, August 22nd. All students are required to participate. See Mrs. Sholes with questions or concerns.

    • The Blaze Pizza fundraiser will be on Aug. 30 from 5pm-8pm at the Lynchburg location (Target, Dicks, and Michaels shopping center) A flyer, needs to be present at the time they order on that day so that we get 20% back.

     

    Clubs 

    • The creative writing club will meet Wednesday after school until 4pm in Ms. Banton’s room.

    • FCA will meet Wednesday in the gym from 7:30-7:50

    • The Make a Change also known as the Kindness  Club has their first meeting before and after school on Tuesday the 21st. Please see Mrs. Eccles' if you have any questions. 


    Sports

    • Boys Basketball workouts will be Tuesday and Friday from 3:15-5:15 at the Middle School

    Attention Juniors: If you are enrolled in the Dual Enrollment program next school year, the parent/student meeting has been changed to today May 23 at 7:00 pm.  It will be held at Rustburg High School Auditorium.


    Sports

    For the cheerleaders that made the JV and Varsity Cheer leading teams, the parents and athletes meeting has been cancelled for Thursday and it is moved to June 11th, which is the first day of practice. Practice will be from 5-7 at RHS and the meeting will follow. If you have any questions, please contact coach Mitchell

    Anime Club Sushi Day is today May 22nd.  Everyone is welcome to join the last meeting of the year, in Mrs. Burrell’s room from 3:00-4:00pm.

    The Rustburg High School Choral Department will present its Spring concert tonight at 7:00 P.M.  The music includes 50's tunes and songs from today and it's free!
